Our studio includes a private office with an editing bay, a galley kitchen for those busy workdays to keep you fueled up, a green room for make-up and wardrobe, and a sound stage perfect for photo/video production. The sound stage dimensions are 24’ X 29’ with 18’ high ceilings and a 14’ garage door. Check out the photos and floor plan. More photos of the kitchen, green room, and sound stage coming soon.

Alex Czuleger | Seminar & Workshop | June 24-27, 2016

Happy Monday!

We are officially announcing the dates and opening enrollment for June’s seminar and workshop with guest speaker, Alex Czuleger, Owner / Talent Manager at The GreenRoom Management Company.

Participants will attend both the Seminar / Q&A on Friday, June 24 and one of the three workshops between June 25-27. In the workshop you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with Alex while performing a cold reading audition.

The main goal for this seminar and workshop is to learn from a successful talent manager about the ins and outs of the film industry. Of course, Alex is always open to new talent, and he has a heart for Midwest talent.

It would be best for anyone interested in this workshop to maintain their training somewhere at professional acting studio. That way you will present your best work to Alex in June. This is an exciting opportunity for everyone!

The OSI is Here!

Learn more about the On Set Intensives here.

Here at Creative Actors we have started a new course! It’s called the On Set Intensive. We launched the OSI in August and it proved to be more beneficial for the actors than even we expected. Over the next few weeks we will be updating our website. Until then enjoy some clips from our very first On Set Intensive in August 2015:

It’s Been A While…

We have had so much news occur since our last post on the website. Most of our updates have been shared on our facebook page here. Below we will quote a few of our FB posts from the past 2 weeks. Then keep an eye out for more regular news, photos, and testimonials throughout the website.

Today on Scott’s Bio Page:

“Scott-Arhtur Allen was the founding coach of Creative Actors (formerly known as Creative Actors Workshop). His unique acting technique, called The Creative Process, is at the core of everything we teach at Creative Actors. Scott’s Creative Process, love, and encouragement will live on in all who met him. Scott will be greatly missed, but we feel confident in continuing his legacy because of his training and guidance. The Creative Process continues to bring consistent, deep realism to artists’ performances with a simplicity and organic beauty that has never been scene outside of the rare natural, empathic performer that seldom catches the public’s attention. Thank you Scott for a truly great gift you have given to the art of performance and to the world.”

“Despite the pain we have all suffered this week, we are excited for this next chapter. Creative Actors is continuing with all classes and services, led by Elizabeth Allen and Kelsey David Shryer. Scott has taught us well and he’s now looking over all of us from above. Just two weeks ago the three of us sat and talked about all of the wonderful things instore for CA and our students. Scott is certainly cheering us on!”

“Know this, Creative Actors: We are strong, We are united, and We are one! Despite the hardships we are facing with the loss of our dear mentor and founder, we will rise up strong. We will honor his legacy. We will make him proud every second of every class and every audition and every performance. We are strong. This is not the time to be hurt, sad, and broken. It is the time to give our full strength to the mission and legacy of Scott-Arthur Allen and that is “training confident human beings who can act”. We can! And WE WILL.”

CA visits the Springfield Little Theatre

CA at Springfield Little Theatre

Our own Writer, Director, Acting Coach and Casting Director Elizabeth Allen had the opportunity to introduce a bunch of very energetic and talented theater kids to film acting this week at the Springfield Little Theatre’s Conservatory Workshop.

“I had a blast! The kids were so polite and fun to work with, and they had some great questions. I would love to do this again, and we hope to see some of these kids at our July two day film acting/audition intensive.” -Elizabeth Allen

Back to St. Louis by Popular Demand!

Poster for STL 2Day in April

Our first 2Day Intensive was a major success! We are returning to St. Louis in April by popular demand (see times & directions by scanning the above QR Code or clicking the link below). Soon we’ll be posting a video with a more in-depth view of the Creative Actors 2Day Intensive. Until then, here is what one student had to share about her experience in the March 2Day Intensive:

“I just wanted to again express my gratitude for all the invaluable information that was taught to us in the 2Day Intensive. As Elizabeth had mentioned in a previous email, I now have a new outlook in acting and life through Scott-Arthur’s words. Even though I have a minor in film studies from college, I still learned a lot about the film industry in this workshop. And the amount of individual attention that I received in the workshop was impressive. It truly was a privilege to be taught the creative process by Scott-Arthur himself. It’s rare to find acting coaches who are so kind, tactfully straightforward and dedicated to helping a young actor develop their craft. Thank you.” Tiffany G
