Our classes are designed to build confidence through guided scene work, coaching, and lectures. Professional guidance and practice is the foundation in the development of all actors whether for stage or film. Our actors develop self-assurance in their natural-born abilities in a positive and interactive atmosphere. The more performance experience an actor receives regularly will determine their ultimate display of talent and native brilliance. You will perform two times every class. You will work on cold readings (auditioning). This is the weakest skill for most actors. Every class will concentrates on some feature of this, which is a major contributor determining whether an actor gets a role. In addition you will perform a memorized scene or monologue each class. This class is designed for the beginning and experienced Actors.

Focus is on:
1. Developing your instrument through proper concentration.
2. Developing Scott-Arthur Allen's proven technique. The Creative Process of Life, a Way of Acting, a Way of Life.
3. Developing the auditioning technique.
4. Developing your overall performing ability.

You will be given a tape or CD of the process that is being taught and in addition there will be lectures. This class is designed for the beginning and experienced Actors ages 8 & up.
The Creative Actors Workshop is a very supportive group and beginning actors find that it is a safe environment where they can overcome fears and grow quickly in their art. Experienced actors find that it is a place for them to hone their skills to new levels of confidence and technical abilities.
