Five Actors from the Creative Actors Workshop were cast in the Academy Awarded nominated film "Winter's Bone" http://www.wintersbonemovie.com/. Three of them with starring and supporting roles. This was a life changing experience for them and us. We are very proud of CAW actors Lauren Sweetser, Casey MacLaren, Cody Brown http://www.codyshilohbrown.com/, Brandon Gray and Charlotte Lucas.
Plus several Saint Louis CAW actors had small roles in the Academy Awarded nominated film "Up in the Air"

There are numerous actors from our St Louis and Springfield classes who have moved to Los Angeles and New York with the help of CAW. Many have signed with major agencies and talent managers.

To name a few Alexandra, Gabriel and Annalise Basso signed with Coast to Coast, which is also one of the larger agencies in Los Angeles.

Gabriel has a recurring role on the Showtime series "The Big C", and a starring role in JJ Abrams film "Super Eight". Annalise has a supporting role in "Bed Time Stories", co-starred in "Love Takes Wing", that aired on the Hallmark channel and has guest stared on many TV series. What do all of these actors have in common? They are getting professional training and guidance from Creative Actors Workshop before moving on to their professional career.

Periodically CAW brings in managers and casting directors for special weekend seminars and showcases.

For the most recent Showcase CAW brought in Phil Brock from Studio Talent Group http://studiotalentgroup.com/ who manages many top working actors. Phil is also the current president of the TMA http://www.talentmanagers.org/

CAW has brought in Bob Thompson of Group 3 Management http://group3mgt.com/. Bob manages Lucas Grabeel of High School Musical I, II, III, Milk and Alice Upside Down a film that was shot in Saint Louis MO. Lucas is an alumnus of Kickapoo high in Springfield MO.

Mr Brock and Mr Thompson we're very impressed with our actor and were interested in signing several of them.

About Elizabeth Allen

Elizabeth Allen was born and raised in Missouri. She was born with a passion for acting. This passion leads her to Los Angeles where she learned her craft. After attending many acting classes she finally found the technique that worked for her at the Creative Actors Workshop. She spent years in class learning her art. Eventually she was signed by the William Carol Agency, and was a member of the Evermore Repertory Company. As an added bonus she met and fell in love and married Scott-Arthur Allen.

"I'm so glad we moved back to Missouri. There are independent films being shot all the time. Not so when I was growing up. I might not have left. I've already been in a couple of local films. The Creative Actors Workshop is giving opportunities to local actors that I did not have. What I would have given to be able to learn my craft at home before I moved to LA. The money and time I would have saved. I would have gone out to LA as a trained prepared actor with a larger bankroll. Something you need if you move to LA or NY."

Elizabeth loves her art. She lives to act. It is an art form that you work on your whole life. She relishes becoming the character and living the reality. Like any art form it requires training to become a master at your craft.

After many years of study and lectures at the Creative Actors Workshop, Elizabeth has taught many classes and understands the technique thoroughly. Students are always eager to work with her because of her energy and enthusiasm that she brings to the class.
